PAVOL LUPTAK DESIGNER
Ambitious multidisciplinary industrial designer born in Slovakia, graduated and currently working in Czechia, with experience of studies and internship in Taiwan, always thirsty for new adventures. Trained in a field of design and engineering, with a master's degree in industrial design and professional experience in execution of multiple projects. Utilizing skills and knowledge in industrial design, prototyping and manufacturing processes, with experience in logo, visual identity and packaging design.

EDUCATION
In 2019 graduated with a Master of Engineering in Industrial Design from Brno University of Technology in Czechia, where since 2020 doing doctoral studies at the Department of Industrial Design. During master studies attended two abroad study programmes - first in 2016 at NTNU at the Department of Design and second in 2018 at NTUST at the Department of Architecture both in Taipei, Taiwan.
EXPERIENCE
Since 2020 experienced as an industrial designer developing new products cooperating with designers, engineers and manufacturers in different working environments both as a designer in a team for an established company JETSURF with in house developed and produced motorized vehicles and as a sole designer for startup company BEATFIT pioneering in a new category of electronic sport equipment. Seasoned at the complete process of industrial design from initial concept through iterative development up to working prototype.
From 2020 also designer and assistant at Brno University of Technology in Czechia, where designing and developing products for companies and startups, lecturing design courses, conducting exhibitions, cooperating with foreign universities and supervising students at local and abroad international workshops.
In 2019 attended an abroad internship in Taipei, Taiwan at architectural studio SWHZ Design Associates as a designer primarily focused on the studio's visual identity and presentation redesign.
Since 2015 worked as an external designer for several clients on realized projects ranging from industrial design, through logo and visual identity to packaging design.
SKILLS
Fluently using Rhinoceros, 3ds Max, Keyshot for 3D modeling, visualizations and animations, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign for graphics, drafting, post processing and desktop publishing. Comfortable in ideation, sketching, creating mockups, clay modeling and rapid prototyping. Familiar with engineering, manufacturing processes and materials and also with design for assembly and manufacturing.
GOALS AND INTERESTS
Determined to gain more experience and competence in a professional industry by utilizing strengths and improving skills as a member of a cross-functional team working on challenging projects, to become a well-trained industrial designer with a broad and strong base of knowledge and skills. Always keen to work hard and to learn and currently looking for another opportunity to pursue my career forward, right now seeking an internship in a professional design studio abroad.
